Mrs. Diann Rack leaches French and English and is co-sponsor of the Foreign Language Club. She received her BA in French from the U. of A. In her spare time, Mrs. Back enjoys knitting, sewing, and music. She likes Italian food and dislikes people who don’t act their age. She holds membership in AKA, SEA, and AAIJW. Mrs. Oweta Humprev teaches Typing, Business Lab, and Shorthand. She is sophomore sponsor. Her Bachelors degree was received at Harding and her Masters from the U. of A. Mrs. Humprey is a member of AVA, A Bp A, and AEA. She enjoys reading and antiques. Mrs. Janette Griffin teaches Spanish and English. She is co-sponsor of the Foreign Language Club. Her BSE was received from SC A and her MA from the 0. of A. Mrs. Griffin is a member of the SEA and AEA. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, and crafts. She likes working with young people. She likes to play golf and to have students who are eager to leam.

Mrs. Brenda liooten teaches Senior English and Ls sponsor of the Senior class. A graduate of SC A, Mrs. Hooten has received her BSE. Mrs. Hooten is a member of the SEA and AEA. Her hobbies include sewing, reading, and playing with her cat. Her major dislike is apathy in any- thing. She says that she likes SHS very much. L a n S u a S e Mrs. Sandra Aaron teaches Junior English and is Junior class sponsor. Her BA was received from Harding College. Mrs. Aaron is a member of the SEA and AEA. Her hobbies include sewing and sports. She likes everybody and everything. She also enjoys teaching. Mrs. Judy Bradberry teaches soph- omore English. She attended Arkansas Tech where she received her BA degree. Mrs. Bradberrv is sponsor of the BETA Club. Her hobbies are sewing, reading, and playing bridge. She says if she had one wish it would be to be able to sleep until 11:00 o’clock every morning. Mr. Tommy Jackson teaches Sophomore, Junior, and Business English. His BSE was received from the State College of Arkansas. Mr. Jackson sponsors the annual staff. He also is Public Information Coordinator for the Searcy School System. He likes students who attend school open-minded, seeking to learn.

Mrs. Evelyn Green attended Philander Smith College and went on to the U of A to get her MS. She teaches Business Arithmetic. Mrs. Green is a member of the Ark. Math Assoc., the NCTM, the AEA, and is Sec. of SEA. Her church activities include being organist, assistant pianist, and Sunday School teacher. Her hobbies are sewing, reading, and puzzles. Mr. Carroll Bass teaches Geometry, Gen. Math, Bus. Math, and Alg. II. He received his BSE at SCA. lie is a member of the AEA, the SEA, the Nat. Council of Math Teachers and the Optimist Club. Mr. Bass's hobbies are mechanics, music, and sports. He dislikes people who are ‘lazy'. Mrs. Eloise Scroggins went to the U of A. She now has 30 hours over her MS. She teaches Senior Math, Alg. II, Geo- metry, and sponsors the Nat. Honor Society. Mrs. Scroggins is a member of the National Council of Math Teachers, the Ark. Council of Math Teachers, and Eastern Star. Mr. Sanders is a member of the AEA, and the Kiwanis Club. His hobbies include football and fishing. Coach J ames Stover received his BSE at the U of A. He has 27 hours in the field of Biology. He teaches Biology and coaches ‘B' team football. Coach Stover is a member of the AEA and the ACA. His hobbies are hunting and fishing, and he enjoys gardening.
