Mr. Harold Wilson is assistant prin- cipal at SHS. He received his BS at Texas College and his MS at Prairie View (Texas). He is a member of AKA, SEA, Association of Education Communica- tions Technology, Chairman of Pro- gressive Men -and also the Community Action Program of Central Arkansas. He enjoys all sports, but his number one hobby is fishing. Mrs. Crystal Hardin is secretary to the principal and a graduate of Weedins Business School. Mrs. Hardin holds membership in the Arkansas Association of Educational Secretaries. She says she enjoys her work very much and working with young people. She is a “very happy person. Miss Kilby Langley is the SHS Librarian. She received her BA at SCA. Miss Langley is a member of SEA, AEA, ALA, BPW. She is sponsor of the Library Club. Her hobbies include sewing and crafts. A dmi n ist rative Person n e I Mrs. Sybil Sullards is counselor at SHS. She received her BSE at SCA and her MED at the U. of A. She is a member of Arkansas Women Deans and Counselors Assoc., Arkansas School Coun- selors Assoc., Delta Kappa Camma, AAllW, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Her hobby is reading. Mr. James Fullerton is assistant counselor of the 10th grade. He was an honor graduate at SCA and received his Masters degree at ASU. He is a member of AEA, SEA, Phi Delta Kappa, and Arkansas School Counselors Asso- ciation. His hobbies include golf and fishing.

Mr. Fletcher Sullards Principal TO THE STUDENTS OF SEARCY HIGH SCHOOL: Again we come to the end of another school year. Let us hope that each of you have gained mentally, socially, and emotionally during the school year and have gained the needed skills which will help you achieve your goal in life. To our seniors 1 wish to say congratulations. It is our wish that your educational years have been productive and have laid the groundwork for you to be successful in your future life. It will be through your efforts and your contributions that you make to society which will determine the type of society in which we arc to live. To you sophomores and juniors, I hope this year has been a year to remember and that you will return to school next fall with the determination to make it even more memorable. To all our students I wish to say “thank you” for making this school year a most successful one.

Mrs. Brenda liooten teaches Senior English and Ls sponsor of the Senior class. A graduate of SC A, Mrs. Hooten has received her BSE. Mrs. Hooten is a member of the SEA and AEA. Her hobbies include sewing, reading, and playing with her cat. Her major dislike is apathy in any- thing. She says that she likes SHS very much. L a n S u a S e Mrs. Sandra Aaron teaches Junior English and is Junior class sponsor. Her BA was received from Harding College. Mrs. Aaron is a member of the SEA and AEA. Her hobbies include sewing and sports. She likes everybody and everything. She also enjoys teaching. Mrs. Judy Bradberry teaches soph- omore English. She attended Arkansas Tech where she received her BA degree. Mrs. Bradberrv is sponsor of the BETA Club. Her hobbies are sewing, reading, and playing bridge. She says if she had one wish it would be to be able to sleep until 11:00 o’clock every morning. Mr. Tommy Jackson teaches Sophomore, Junior, and Business English. His BSE was received from the State College of Arkansas. Mr. Jackson sponsors the annual staff. He also is Public Information Coordinator for the Searcy School System. He likes students who attend school open-minded, seeking to learn.
