SPEECH and DRAMATICS Gone is the time in which only those with great talent were trained in speech. Because of the wide spread media, radio and television, oral communication is additionally important for every person. The Speech Department endeavors to meet this need by offering classes in speech funda- mentals, public speaking, drama, and speech- drama. Voice improvement, correct pronun- ciation, debate and oratory, and theater arts are all covered in the courses.
