Dedication Thirty-eight years of dedicated service in the Seaman community has made Dan Emrich a legend in his own lifetime. Mr. Emrich came to Seaman in 1938 with three years of teaching experience. From 1940 until 1952 he was football coach, twice having all victorious teams. His teams won seventy-five games, tied five, and lost forty-seven. Approximately six-thousand students attended at least one of his classes in his years at Seaman. The additional lives touched by those 6, 000 multiply his influence. His current principal, Don Pierce, expressed his tribute when he recently told the high school faculty, It is a disappointment to me that my children will never sit in Dan Emrich's classes. Do you think that's enough hot dogs for the prom? Last year it was science. Now it's history. It's a secure class--better than being a sophomore and safer than being a senior. It's like being the peanut butter on the sandwich of life. What can I say about juniors. . . juniors are the teachers' hopes for a better senior class. But what am I going to do? I'rn finally 18. Do I still have to be in by twelve? I'm one credit short! Look how raunchy my picture turned out. Do you think MY mom will let ME spend the night at Worlds of Fun? llow will I ever pay off my senior debts? I've got the senior blues. What can I say about Seniors. . .
