F ORE WORD THE 1963-64 school year was a mem- orable time for all Vikings . During this year Seaman experienced a new student council, a dress code, and a new junior high. For the first time in the school's history, no freshmen attended Seaman. Viking school spirit prevailed through- out the year spurring achievements in athletics, music and debate. It was in this year of change that the shattering news of President Kennedy's assassi- nation was heard. The nation was stunned, but remained united and quick- ly recovered. No matter how exciting or tragic the various memories of this year may be, the day will come when 1964 Seaman students will say, Yes, I remember SHS. Northern Hills Junior High School.
