The science department is represented by Mr. Willis, Mr. johnson, Mr. Freel, and Mr. Bowser. Without science there would be no progress in lifeg thus, science will always be important in education. Biology, chem- istry, physics, and a newly added modern earth science class provide Seaman students with a well rounded background in this area. Modern earth science furnishes students with facts and ideas from various areas of scientific thought. MA TH Math teachers-Mr. Nachtigall, Mr. Bierman, Mr. Johnson, and Mr. Willis-discuss a difficult math problem. Mr. johnson reviews with his Algebra I class. 1 THE MATHEMATICS department serves all students, as some type of mathematics is used in every person's life, it may be only the counting of money or it may be devising formulas for electronic brains. Applied mathemat- ics, general mathematics, Algebra I, geometry, Algebra ll, trigonometry, probability and statistical inference, and an advanced mathematic course offer Seaman students a well-rounded edu- cation in mathematics.
