THE P1151 FRESHNHN 'Twas the third of September. With quivering nerves, we freshmen ap- proached our new home, Seaman High. we were treated as all freshmen are-- showers at noon, and all the other Hmeann things the upperclassmen could think of. But we enjoyed it. We ended our first year with a picnic breakfast at Garfield Park. Our class officers were Clifford Lowe, president, Phyllis Tice, vice- president, Marlene Falley, secretary, Norma Lemons, treasurer. Our sponsors were Miss Cox and Mr. Thoman. SUPHDHURE The whole school was surprised that we sophomores gave one of the best all-school parties of the year. We were really proud of ourselves, of course, with assistance from our sponsor, Miss Skinner. In the spring, we had the usual picnic at Lake Shawnee. To lead us through this year we chose Bon Rose- baugh, president, Pat Thomas, vice-president, Beth Shields, secretary, Norma Lemons, treasurer. CConfidentially, they were swell officers.D JIIHIDR we returned to school feeling Hsupern because we had two years behind us. We were juniors! Looking ahead to our first prom, and was it scrumptious! We chose as our officers this year: president, Galen Seal, vice-president, John Myers, secretary, Norma Lemons, treasurer, Bonnie Streeter. we also spon- sored the Christmas formal which had become a yearly function to which we also look forward. We finished off the year with a swell picnic at Lake Shaw- nee. Mrs. Gooch and Mr. Wahl sponsored us. EENIIIR Well, here we are at last. When we entered Seaman four years ago, we wondered if we'd ever get to the honored position of Seniors, which to us then seemed terribly far off. we started the year by electing our officers: Don Rosebaugh, president, Ivajean Allen, vice-president, Bonnie Streeter, secre tary, and John Myers, treasurer. Our next objective was a Play Day. We de cided on Lake Wabunsee. Everyone had lots of fun, even though some of us got lost before we got there. The juniors had a Prom for us this year at the Hotel Jayhawk Roof Garden. we all had a wonderful time. We ended this year with a picnic. Now as we look back on all four years at Seaman, we realize, although we've had some trouble, we've also had a lot of fun and a wonderful time.
