The girls on the cheerleading squad were Linda Hill and Joann Brown. Boys ' basketball managers were: Charles Luther, Sherman Richardson and Edward Cornelison. As we started our final year we were looking forward to the day of diplomas and graduation. We had begun with a large class but now had only 45 members. CL ass J J ropiiec(j This is a very special day in the great city of Seagrove! It is the biggest thing that ever hit Seagrove: Place: Seagrove Colosseum Occasion: Reunion of the Class of ' 60 Time: - 1975 - fifteen years later. Some of the guests are beginning to arrive. Yes, here comes Brenda Beck. While in school she was Miss Se-Hi, now she is running for Miss America. With her is the owner of Stedman Manu¬ facturing Company, Charles Luther. Now comes our next occupant of the White House, Sherman Richardson. Well, who could that be? Oh, it ' s Vernice Leach, the first known woman bus driver for the Seagrove-Erect Express, owned by Leo Brower; with her she brought a bus load of the gang. There is Margaret Auman who is the owner of that new dress shop downtown with her designer, Lydia Venable. Virginia Beck who gave up ball and is now coaching her own little red heads; Sadie Callahan, who is now working for T.W. A. And that famous piano player, Lanson Cox, with his pet cat. There ' s Ronald Shaw still looking for all the books he lost in school. Linda Voncannon finally worked her wa y into the Air Force as a nurse, I see. Another car just arrived; it ' s Judy Baker, who finally made it to Hollywood with her acting ability. Here comes Linda Hill who works for her husband; and for money. She sells the used cars she has accumulated in the past years. Here are those two TV stars Agnes Cole and Rebecca Latham with their own show Keep Talking. Here comes Brenda Wright who now owns her own dairy bar, so she can have all the milk shakes she wants; with her is Thomas Lawrence who keeps her dairy filled with produce from his farm. Myrtle Smith and Betty Luther just arrived. They own the beauty shop on the corner of 5th and Main. Who could that be? It ' s the teacher of Seagrove High, Elmyra Williams who took Mrs. Auman ' s place in World Geography; Linda Tucker finally made it into the Home Economic Department, we observe! And here is Doris Wilson, secretary to the principal of old Se-Hi. I would say that this looks like it is going to be a real reunion! Some one just came in - Kay Asbill, just out of college and who is going to be secretary to the new president. What is that? A wrecker? Why, it is the owner of the new Sinclair Station in Whynot, Darrell Johnson. He tells us that Ruby Garner and Sarah Luther are married, living in Pisgah. Well, what do we have here? America’s greatest scientist, Ray Luck. Here comes Susie Kearns, married but working hard writing articles for Seagrove Times. Something just passed by going too fast to stop it. Oh, it is backing up and we see Hilton Byrd, the latest win¬ ner of the Southern 500, in his low-flying Chevy. Here comes J. C. Voncannon - he finally
