Dedication There comes a time in everyone's life when you will need someone to rely on, a person with an under- standing for you, and patience with your many mis- takes. Friends are Your most cherished possessions, and we have found, not only a friend, but an advisor and helper as well. When we began our High School life, four years ago, we were uncertain, but this teacher understood and led us as she would have her own. We, the i955 staff, sincerely hope by dedicating our Se-l-li to her will express our many thanks. To Mrs. Walker W. Derr, we dedicate our i955 Se-Hi. There are times when we need a counselor, when our paths of life grow dark, a warm smile of friendship when our future looks dim, an encouraging word when our spirits are low, some one to direct us onward and upward on the ladder of life. i FQREWORD As we come to the close of another school year, we pause to look back on the memories enjoyed during our high school years, years spent at Seogrove Hi, a name that we will cherish through the years of our life. The formula for our happiness has been in exploring new territories, territories of Peace Essays, Dra- matics, and Debating . . . we have also had fun in the games that we have won and lost. There is the mingling with people during our Washington trip . . . the feel of your first formal evening at your Junior-Senior Banquet . . . the nervousness and the feeling of accomplishment in the Junior and Senior plays . . . the crown- ing of the King and Queen and the gaiety of all the Halloween festivities. These together, with the encouragement and kindness of our teachers, the companionship of our fellow students have helped to make this the most enjoyable time of our lives. To you, the faculty, our principal, Mr. Barker, his associates, and our fellow classmates, we extend our earnest regret of departure.
