Hlass Praplzfcy You may be wondering what will happen to the seniors of the Class of 1954. Neither you nor I can predict. I have asked a wise old owl for he gets around and sees many things. Ac- cording to his opinion: Betty Asbill will be a science professor. She will own a poultry farm in Coleridge. Hoyt Auman will become a Greyhound Bus Driver. Tulah Brewer will be a singer and will give Margaret Truman much competition. Catherine Cagle will become a doctor. Charles Cagle will drive a racing car in the Indianapolis Speedway races. Jimmy Cagle will become manager of one of the largest beef cattle farms in this state. Ilene Callahan will be married to the gov- ernor of Kansas. Roy Chriscoe will organize a famous string band. Betty Cockman will become a TV star and travel around the world. Thelma Cole will teach the second grade at Seagrove School. Eddie Davis will become a dancing instruc- tor. Betty Graves will become an airline hos- tess for Eastern Airlines. David Graves will become an inventor. His first invention will be sanforized bacon. Shirley Greene will be a poet and play writer. Harold Hammond will be the owner of two banks, one shoe factory, three used car lots, and two department stores. He will grow straw- berries to make a little extra money. Ruby Hayes will become a successful law- yer. Rex Honney will own a flea circus. He will travel with his circus all over the United States. Billy Johnson will become a county farm agent. He will also be an operator of a dairy farm. Benkie Kearns will become a movie pro- ducer. Dell Kemp will be dean of a girls' school. Martha King will be a scientist and will write two chemistry books. Jack Langley will be a second Babe Ruth. Jo Ann Latam will be the first woman gov- ernor of North Carolina. Dale Lowdermilk will become a professor of mathematics at the University of North Caro- lina. Ronald Lucas, instead of being an athlete, will secure a iob with a circus watering ele- phants. Loberta McNeill will be an engineer and will own a drug store. Emogene Morgan will operate a cafe and will manage a tobacco farm. Joe Needham will attend college at Notre Dame on a football scholarship. After gradua- tion he will play professional football. Bonnie Poole will be an actress on the 3-d television sets. Aveline Richardson will be a tractor dealer. Max Robbins will be principal of a large school in Guilford county. Banner Shelton will be a civil engineer. Doris Strider will establish an automobile manufacturing company. Gretchen Strider will become the smartest senator in Washington. Helen Strider will become an airplane pilot. David Sykes will become head of the Sea- grove Fire Department. He will also teach music. Lucy Tedder will be a foreign missionary. Elaine Tucker will explore some of the un- known regions of Brazil.
