The theme was Oriental Para- dise with Lew Startt's orchestra furnishing the music. Committees for the Prom were spear- headed by the following juniors: Marianna Sherman, theme committeeeg joan Cordrey and Kay Ellis, bidsg Sandra Fleetwood, dec- orationsg joan Price and Suzie Wilkinson, programsg Ronnie Hastings and Reese Parker, orchestrag Phyllis Allen, refreshments. The beautifully decorated gymnasium was entered at 9 p.m. and was filled with fun and enjoyment until one a.m. when everyone departed to attend after-prom parties.
