The main purpose of the Student Council, as taken from the preamble of our School Constitution, is Hto Obtain closer cooperation and association among the students and with the faculty, and to ohtain a representative form of government in Seaford High Schoolf' The Student Council accomplished its purpose in many ways this year. During the first meeting, committees for various activities were formed. Activity tickets and ialentilication cards were put on sale. ln january two re- creation rooms were opened in the hasementg recortls :intl ping-pong equipment were purchasetl. A puhlic atltlress system was also given to the school hy the Student Coun- cil. ln, April, the Student Council members put on their annual Talent Show. A special committee was also formed to prepare a handbook for 195+-1955-1956.
