Dage Twelve principal mankind has always had areas of endeavor which brought to- gether individuals of all sorts and stations. music is such an area. the march of the band, the blending of glee club voices, the song of the soloist-all of these convey a universal message that sweeps aside pride and preiudice and unites us all in the harmony of fine achieve- ment. cleans it is a seabreeze tradition to try to help each student work toward his best potentialities. the rapid growth of the school has threatened that tradition but we are meeting it by establishing the positions of dean of boys and dean of girls. as every musician stumbles over notes and needs the direction of a conductor, students stumble during the trying task of growing up and need guidance. our deans stand ready to assist every student in his personal and social development and in analyzing his abilities, aptitudes and interests so that he may obtain the most from school life. our teachers are also guidance conscious and spend much time and effort working with our boys and girls in trying to stimulate and encourage them to obtain a good basic education while they are still in high school.
