With Mr. Shulman coaching, last year's golf team had a fairly suc- cessful season and produced a Nassau County champion, Eugene Fran- cis. Eugene QCharIiej scored in numerous tournaments throughout the season. This year, with the return of four veterans, the team should again have a good season and, possibly, beat Glen Cove, the golfing power of Long Island. The Mighty Five from Sea Cliff bravely set out toward the Man- hasset Alleys every Monday. Guess what? The Girls' Officials Club is the honorary girls' sports organiza- tion of Sea Cliff High School. The purpose of the club is to teach girls to officiate at speedball, soc- cer, volleyball, basketball, and softball games by providing ref- erees for the various sports. Members must maintain a 90 percent average in gym, accumu- late 250 points during the year, participate in Sports Night and officiate at two sports during the year. G.A.A. The Girls' Athletic Association of which every girl is a member, governs after school sports in- cluding intramural games and games with other schools. The organization also plans Girls' Sports Night, an annual competitive exhibition between the Maroon and White teams.
