Second row: Coach q Conlin, A. Vespa, J. Behrmann, W. Livingston, J. Bellafatto, L. Stiles, R. Cunningham, A. Schwartz. The varsity baseball team has five lettermen returning from last year's squad. This supply of veteran players puts Sea Cliff in a better position than it has enjoyed for a number of years. Coach Conlin is counting on additional support from a fine crop of sophomores who have moved up from a winning freshman team. Hard work, practice, and some good spot pitching should bring about a victorious sea- son. V First row: A. Schwartz, L. Stiles, E. Bunce, D. Leckie, G. England, 'K. A Stewart, W. B. Duffy, J. Clarke. GOLF First row: Mr. B. Shulman, F. Hamada, E. Francis, G. England. Second row: A. Vespa, T. Van Cott, A. L. Holmes, E. Laszewicki. With Mr. Shulman coaching, last year's golf team had a fairly suc- cessful season and produced a Nassau County champion, Eugene Fran- cis. Eugene QCharIiej scored in numerous tournaments throughout the season. This year, with the return of four veterans, the team should again have a good season and, possibly, beat Glen Cove, the golfing power of Long Island. The Mighty Five from Sea Cliff bravely set out toward the Man- hasset Alleys every Monday. Guess what? We won a matchl Mr. Potter, the pedagogue with perennial patience, kept our spirits up through strike or foul. Wait till next year! BOWLING First row: T. Cavanaugh, J, Hendry, A. Vespa, T. Duck, F.
