AUTUMN In the Fall, the l-lords gave their traditional tea to welcome the freshmen to Scripps . . . the sopho- mores welcomed them too, with initiation at six a.m. on the athletic field. The class of T957 paid off, showing ingenuity and talent to the rest of the col- lege. Faculty and students enjoyed their evening to- gether at the barbcue pit and the three councils gave glowing accounts of roughing it at ldylwild. Senior Vespers was a veritable inspiration to remind us that we had much we might be grateful for as Thanksgiving approached. ln the Fall, chrysanthemums brightened Euca- lyptus Court and the tulip trees shed their golden leaves.
