Mr Baird explains one of the rules of practical English to John Tennyson PEOPLE ARE JUDGED not only by their actions but also by the manner in which they speak. For this reason good English is important to every man woman and child. The home has a great influence on the way a per- son speaks simply because people have the tendency to imitate and accept the way others speak as being cor- rect.
