Zhe Senior Class of 1961 Scotts Mill High School Scotts Hill, Zcmessce ' Dedication We, the staff of the 1961 Lion, proudly dedicate this annual to the citizens of this community who help make possible the fine education that each boy and girl receives. They have been effective in giv¬ ing every student greater opportunities for learning so that he will be better prepared to go forward into the future. Without the untiring patronage and mu¬ nificence of these people, it would not be possible to have the school that we have today. We sincere¬ ly wish to extend a token of appreciation to those individuals who have so unselfishly given of their time and efforts to the interests and advancements of Scotts Hill School. MR. R. F. RAINES, Principal, and CAROLYN SNIDER, Secretary The Annual Staff, who are Seniors, are hard at work on the annual as we, students and teachers, enter the homestretch at our school. This is the largest Senior Class ever to graduate from the Scotts Hill School. You are forty in number. Many memories of the days the class spent together, and also with your fellow students, will be captured in this year¬ book, thanks to your sponsor, Miss Nellie, the annual staff and the Senior Class. May each one of you remember always, the good which you have done, and the cooperative spirit which has contrib¬ uted to the lofty ideals held by your Alma Mater. MR.
