ALMA MATER . . . ADIEU In June of 1960, Scott High will be no more. There will be no more seniors To trod upon its floor And gone will be the spirit, That won so many games, And gone will be the players, Who've brought us so much fame. The teachers that we really liked, Although we didn't say, And how our likes and dislikes Had changed from day to day. The friendly Hi's, from everyone As we walked through the halls The lasting hint of friendship Reflected on the walls. And visits to the fountain That we managed in every class, And praying that in English, We made the grade to pass. The golden bears we followed, At home or at away. And life and death within our halls, Are memories to stay. So even if Scott Township Will soon be in the past, It's spirit will be remembered, And ever will it last.
