two more years to reach their goal. The sophomores were active in many school activi- ties also. Many boys represented their class on the football and basketball teams While the girls were active in G.A.A., Library Club and Sub-Deb Club which is made up al- most entirely of sophomores. They also contributed to making the Scott-T-News a bigger success than ever. With this year over they look forward to being Juniors and are already preparing themselves for the responsibilities that will be theirs when they become Juniors. They accomplished much as n class but looleforward to doing bigger and better things when they return next year. Ati-s,-1 .-Y X N.

l CITASS OF 1943 The sophomore class this year can boast of having one hundred forty-three pupils This is the first year that this group as a whole has organized. They waited until after Christmns before they elected their class oiiicers. Their reason was that they would make a wiser choice Shortily after the election of officers the class as one organization began planning for the Skating Party that was held on the sixteenth of April. Only hard Work and cooperation on both the parts of the students and their teachers, Miss Taylor, Mrs. Musico, Mr. Brosky and Mr. Barthen ma-de this first venture a success. But now for ether phases of the sophomores school life. Studies were predomi- nant. The pupils were studious QP, and did their best because they knew they had but

CLASS OF 1944 Scott Township flung its doors wide open to admit one hundred forty-nine fresh- men to their ranks. To many, the school and the rest of their classmates were com- pletely new and strange. But not for long because the qusbies were a friendly group and before many days had passed many true and lasting friendships were made. The freshmen were well represented in all activities and clubs in school. The G.A.A. can boast of having quite a few freshman members while the basketball can do likewise for the freshmen boysg ' Many new and interesting subjects were open to the freshman and You can bet that they took them seriously too. The class as a whole had a fine scholastic standing.
