Cheerleading Squad The Scott Hxgh School cheerleadlng squad develops 1ts own routme for leadmg the student body 1n cheer1ng at the var1ous athletxc contests ol the year Th1s squad IS composed of eleven members all glrls two sophomores four 1un1ors and hve sen1ors Durmg the act1v1ty per1od cheers are practxced for 1ncreased coordxnauon 1n domg motlons for leadmg cheers new cheers are orlgxnated and motlons worked out Before pep assembhes an lntenslve practlce sessron 1S always held and preparatxons for leadmg and encouragmg cheerxng are made The members of the squad are requ1red to ma1nta1n a good scholastxc average and a correct classroom att1tude 1n order to rema1n an actxve member of the squad The squad IS especlally actrve durmg the football season An athlet1c award system IS worked out for the members of th1s squad as for other school athletlc teams one year of SGIVICG school letter two years of serv1ce sweater three years of serv1ce charm Sen1or cheerleaders are Patsy Pnce Captaln Gladys Henry Betty Llttle lean Regener and Mar1e Shesko Mrss Catherme Stern IS the faculty advtser of the Cheerleadlng Squad
