BOYS' HI-Y The Scott Hi-Y is an organization of boys whose activities center around the creed: to create, maintain, and extend throughout the school and community high standards of Christian character. The meetings are held in the club room atop the Y. M. C. A. The club members assist in many of the activities of the Y. M. C. A. and other community projects. The officers are: President, Horace Bonsall: Vice President, Iohn Pitcherella. Secretary: Jim Copeland: Treasurer, Iim Way. HOBBY CLUB This club was originated by Clarence Slocum to help students who are interested in making useful items for home and school Shortage o' lumber material has hampered the activity of this club and consequently the members are limited to the construction of small projects GREGG SPEEDSTERS the ability ol taking rapid dictation and typing at faster rates of speed Included on the roster of the club program were fast dictation improving of typing techniques transcrrptron enlarged shorthand vocabulary and timely discussions on office procedure The Gregg Speedster Club, under the direction of Mrs. Sara R. Davis, attempted to improve
