A 1:4 lfvil Talarla Our aim in publishing this yearbook has been to present for your enjoy ment a book worthy of the class of 1947 to recall for you the foremost events of the past few years has been our uppermost desire The staff sincerely hopes that their work has been thoroughly successful and that their aim has been realized Our selected title was enlisted from Roman mythology Talaria is the name of the winged sandal which appears on our school seal It is symbolic for progress The staff wishes to express sincerest appreciation to Clement Augustin for his assistance with the advertising solicited by the Distributive Occupa tion Class Talaria Staff included Lois Miller and Betty Lemheny co editors Ann Wilson, Mary Karos, Patricia Donovan, Katherine Pequesse, Dorothy Taylor, Theresa Kilduff, Wilbur Marsh, Earl Isaacs, and Earl Sheirer.
