FACULTY The greatest asset a school can have is its teachers. Throughout the ages attempts have been made to improve the quality of instruction in our schools. Experimental programs have undergone careful scrutiny to see if and when the material of a specific course might be revised. Instructional methods have undergone continual analysis to see if they utilize to the best advantage the ability of young people to learn. As a result of this two-fold attack, educational systems are in a continuous state of change; however, it has been found that the stabilizing agent in education has been the teacher. If we were to choose the one factor which has contributed the most to the learning process in our schools, it would have to be the teacher. Methods and materials change, but a good teacher will stimulate worthwhile learning regardless of the methods or material being used. Teachers who are sincerely interested in the young men and women with whom they work, make one of the greatest contributions possible to our country and society. They mold the leaders and followers of tomorrow. Without them, our nation could not prosper. To them, we owe our deepest gratitude for their efforts to help us to live more useful and gratifying lives. We thank them for their efforts and wish them continued success in the education of young Americans.
