J'Oh WDhd. We, the seniors of the class of 1955 present The Diamond Jubilee. Beautiful, sparkling gems of many kinds. The polished gems, our seniors, ready to face a world so different from what they have known. Before these gems were polished and set. they had to he cut and given special care. So it is with the seniors, who have been guided and cared for by the faculty and administration of our school. We hope that the uncut diamonds, which are our sophomores and juniors, will be as fortunate as we in having such attention and care, and will emerge as beautiful polished gems. And so, after being set, the gems are sold and go to all parts of the world. The seniors shall have the same opportunity to give their services and help in everyway they can and to give their time and effort to help make the world a better place in which to live. To be beautiful, they must be properly cut and this cutting requires great skill. From this mine comes our gems. 4
