NEWS BUREAU PROMOTES FAVORABLE COMMUNITY RELATIONS Striving to promote favorable relations between the com- munity and the high school is the purpose of the News Bureau. Articles which describe events at S.P.F.H.S. are submitted weekly to the Scotch Plains Times and the Courier News. The bureau is staffed by a group of approximately twenty writers who are responsible for meeting the deadlines of assigned articles. In addition to reporting, the News Bureau is responsible for decorating their showcase in the History hall which con- tains the School Scrapbook. The News Bureau hopes that through their efforts, S.P.- F.H.S. has become more to the townspeople than just another building.
