JUNIOR PLAY Strut y formal Okay kuds stop hammung at up out In the front row' Whether on stage or off the Junnor Play cast was always act rn and enloymg every mmute of It Structly Formal was the lrst play to be gnven In our new school and most people agreed t at ut was a great opener But benng first also created problems There was very lnttle tame for rehearsals and untul two days before opemng mght we thought nt would have to go on without sets There was plenty of fun and excitement though along wlth those few rough spots Tensson bullt up as March 'I4 approached and then came the bug mght' There was only one small hutch a blnzzard forced postponement of Fridays performance to Monday The play dnd appear on Saturday though and ut was certcnnly worth wanting for The play ntself was funny but wnll we ever forget those lnttle extras that made It so special? There was Satchmo Hamgans trumpet playung the time Tommy Squares put his hand through the wmdow that wasnt there and Lowell Ballungers show stoppmg lnne Tree h l well cut the d n thung down' After the play came congratula tuons for all especnally Mrs Lnmpert and a wrld round of guddmess on the part of the players because ut was over and had gone so well To top ut off were the parties MacRaes open house and Sue Stoehrles lnttle cast party They were about the best of all Now you can go out rn respedable company If you should ever want to If ld known Wlml 0 l9Ul9U5 old 'UO' You WW' If you dont Ill never bake another apple ple' ld never have bought next door to you 'Jane, whats the matter?
