Class History ln September, 1955, two hundred young beings entered the fleecy portals of Heaven, then located on Park Avenue, and were greeted by Mr. Adams, the keeper, of the celestial palace. With all of the upper classmen wandering around with their heads in the clouds, we were properly awed at our position of being the lowliest creatures there. Our only consolation was the younger students who attended classes in the afternoon. After we became adjusted to our new environment, we decided to take advantage of that well known phrase, Someday we gotta get or- ganized, and so we elected a Freshman Council of Eight which arranged for our Freshman movie, Three Sailors and a Girl. Because our treasury needed some of the root of all evil, we gave the dance, the Sham- Rock, which was the most memorable experience of our freshman year. lt was held on fwhat elsel St. Patrick's Day. But soon our first happy year in high school drew to a close and so began a second year of entering the hallowed halls at the awful hour of 7:45. We began our sophomore year a little older, a little wiser, and no longer the youngest creatures in our little world. The big event of that year was the Sophomore Hop, Hearts and Flowers, our first formal dance. We were really beginning to feel grown-up. For our Junior year we moved a few clouds south into a new celes- tial palace, which was gleaming, resplendent, and truly heavenly. We began the year with no gym or real cafeteria but soon the memories were piling up faster than we could stow them away. Our Junior Play, Strictly Formal, the first play to be presented in our new domicile, was considered the best Junior Play ever by all who attended. We had a
