W., SENIOR CHGRUS The Showboat's in town! The Showboat's in town! With this rousing introduction the Senior Chorus ushered in another of its musical variety programs. The Chorus is known for its sparkling production of all types ot vocal music. The Christmas assembly contained both modern and traditional carols. The Thanksgiving program was a balance of the heavy and the light all served up with that little extra dash of showmanship. This year, one ot the big events for the Chorus, and indeed for the whole school, was a production of Plain and Fancy that was good enough to make Broadway blush. X a Schult, J, Bouker, M. This group, lacking the bands' flamboyant uniforms and march- ing routines, concentrates on just plain, old fashioned, good music. The orchestra plays for some assemblies, in particular the Honor Society induction and Mr. Byrd's Ora- torical contest. lt also performs at the annual spring concert and graduation.
