lam We re poor lsttle lambs who have lost our way Baa' Baa' Baa' Lsttle black sheep who have gone astray Baa' Baa' Baa' Some of us thought that st would be a good sdea to adopt thss as our class song ssnce st so well fsts the sstuatson Oh st s not really so bad' we started off as well as any class but we sust got LOST along the way' We set out as frssky lsttle Freshmen wsthout a care sn the world but soon we realszed that Algebra wasn t as easy as esghth grade arsthmetsc so we settled down' Jack Cowan became our class pressdent and uraed us all to pay our class dues Well some of us pasd and some dsdnt That was the begsnnsng' We managed to have cs dance though wsth sprsng decoratsons and a band ln those days the years were long and our Freshmen year just dragged by Then we were Sophomores' At our fsrst class rneetsng we elected Bob Ehmann as our pressdent and decsded that we certasnly could be a novel class WE would have a trsp to Washsngton as well as a Culmen so we rassed the Sophomore dues to Sl OO The Hop was swell a beautsful combsnatson of Valentsnes and upsds But the Hop st seems always eats up money and we ended the year wsth a deflated treasury but stsll the dream' ln our Junsor year we elected Bsll Msxon to lead us through the year that proved to be our toughest We were snformed that money maksng actsvstses were to be lsmsted thus we had only our skatsng party and our play Just our luck skatsng partses were no longer popular we made just enough money to cover expenses The plav Slsce lt Thsn' was the fsrst event that we were really proud of lt was all ours' Our dsrector was ssck for quste a whsle and most ofthe credst must be gsven to Edna Trautmann Asssstant Dsrector and the cast Then the tsme for the Prom rolled round lt was to be on May second Untsl a few As new Sensors we looked we acted as supersor as any but the wolf was knocksn on the door We made hsstory when we elected all gsrl offscers Dot Webster was press dent JeanAnne Harvey vsce pressdent Dot Santo Salvo secretary and Grace Rngante had the dssheartensng sob of treasurer We started a mad race for the money we needed to pay for our Culmen' We sold Chrsstmas cards and rnagazsnes but somethsng was wrong Lske I sasd we were LOST our hearts just werent sn st' The candy commsttee seemed to be the good shepherds who kept the wolf away' They made most of our money Then our bsg hope' The Sensor Play You Can t Take lt Wsth You CA good one cause we wouldn t have any to take wsth US'l The cast worked hard and under thesr capable dsrector Msss Hsgg ns they once agasn made the Class of 48 a happy one After sprsng vacatson e sponsored the Sensor movse June and we were at the end of st all' We all suddenly found the one strasght road to Commencement and we all stuck together As usual we pulled through' So the Prom was a happy tsme when we at last were free of responssbslsty We danced untsl we were tsred Then we went to a number of partses whsch we certasnly can NEVER forget l guess you re wondersng why a hsstory lske thss had to be wrstten The answer ss ssmple' Thss ss sust a proof that nothsng ss ever hopeless The way looked dark sn the msddle of our Sensor year st seemed hopeless but we see now that st all turned out for the best Our hsgh school years were the happsestwe ll ever know What?
