CLASS If you hoped that ' ' everything you ever wanted to ask about the Seniors but were afraid to know will be in this class history — you ' re wrong! The class has very few memories of the good old days, but the girls can ' t for- get The Movie that was shown in fifth grade. Laura M., Clair C. and all the other social butterflies will remember meeting their steadies at Damon Rock while in the sixth grade Maria C, Dottie H., and Nancy S., met their boyfriends in the woods behind Central School. (Where there ' s a will, there ' s a way.) While they were out socializing, other people gave their teacher an ulcer, isn ' t that true Susan P., Jane B., David C. and other members of Miss Reardon ' s fourth grade class. And does anybody remem- ber the wiffle Steve P. had in the sixth grade. Or the onion fight where Joe T. left his onion in Mr. Pratt ' s room . . . While Arthur H. was near tears in front of all the other sixth graders after his cherry bomb went off under a car, Walter A. got a spanking from Mrs. Hammil. We all trooped into the Junior High — no longer children, all the girls wearing bras except Nancy O. But the problems facing us now were big ones — how to safely pass Mrs. Keenan ' s shower checks and still keep your clothes on, or how to square dance with the boys in gym without really touching them. And how was Mrs. Soccorso suppose to answer Wendy S. question in the seventh grade Biology class without blowing her mind. In eighth grade almost every student had to take typing with Mrs. John- son (a-q-a-z . . . ) and almost every student tried to skip and almost every student was able to walk safely past her window without her even seeing you. Nobody who ever went to Chris G. parties will ever forget them. How about the day Geoff N. had it out with Mrs. Smith but Mr. Callis had to interfere. Nobody can ever forget Mrs. Smith and her tactful? com- ments, isn ' t that right Jeff S. Ted K. and Eric S. will never forget what good friends? they were? We can ' t forget Mr. Jones and his nifty days or Miss Giles and her place at the end of the hall. Well we moved right up in the world by coming to this here High School. Meagan H. made her grand entrance into the library in Freshman year by falling down the entire flight of stairs. And our float didn ' t make a very good impression either, because we came in last place. During our Sophomore year we didn ' t do much better — our float fell apart the night before Homecoming. But Paul T. had fun chasing people around in the golf cart. At our car wash a man said we scratched his car while we were washing it, but it wasn ' t true because we didn ' t wash any cars — we were too busy washing ourselves. Mary Lou M. went out with Paul McCartney, and Pam M. and Dotty L. were busy taking pounds of hamburger and whipped cream and storing it in the Home Ec kitchen drawers when teacher wasn ' t looking. Martha H., Lee T., Kathy M., Kathy G., and Dotty L. — remember going to the haunted house after going out for French food . . . Nancy O. drew a cartoon of Mr. Barlow with an exaggerated nose and chin while he was
