O ' Neil. Library The Library Staff was organized thisyearwith Charlotte White, presi- dent; Betty Winston, vice president; Nancy Ashley, secretary; and Patricia Dunphy, treasurer. Chosen as board members were Donald Oakes, ' 56; C onstance Gomes , ' 57; Ann Fitz- gerald, ' 58; and Rosalie Warshaw, ' 59. Meetings were held on Tuesdays during the Activity Period for the pur- pose of mending books, typing cards, and discussing the problems of the li- brary. An open meeting was planned for the eighth graders, featuring a guest speaker on the history of Scitu- ate. Members of the library staff have attended meetings and parties for school librarians at Braintree High, South Quincy Junior High, and North Quincy High School.
