Sophomore Class The Sophomores held their first meeting early in December. Paul Johnson, president; Veronica Leone, secretary; and Ronald Rencurrel , treasurer were all re-elected. Paul Roy, vice president, was the only newly-elected officer. Mrs. Baker and Mr. Johnson are class advisers. Nancy Oliver, Veronica Leone, and Paul Roy were the Student Council representatives. On the Honor Roll for the first marking period were Jean Curran, George Rodgers, Bruce Simmon, Charlotte White, and Margaret Wy- man. The Sophomores are a lively and energetic group. There are numerous sophomores in the school athletic pro- gram; and several are helping in the office and library. The class has also added its talent to the orchestra, band, arid glee club. The Junior Class began their third year of high school by electing the following officers: president, James Prouty; vice president, Edward Dun- ham; secretary, Lawrence Schiner; and treasurer, David Buckley. Miss Vinal and Mr. Biggar are class ad- visers. Sandra Blanchard, David Buckley, Jared Fitzgerald, Beth Gunn, and Richard Meagher were chosen as Student Council members. The class has done well scholasti- cally this year. Constance Bailey, Sandra Blanchard, David Buckley, Robert Clark, Christopher Curran, Beth Gunn, Horace Sylvester, and Ja- nice Tingley were on the Honor Roll for the first marking period. Our officers were David DeMoss, president; Bruce Sun- nerberg, vice president; Margaret Shea, secretary, and Karen Mullen, treasurer. Our Student Council repre - sentatives were Joan Chagnon and Wil- liam McKeever. The Freshman basketball team had a very successful year, and there were many Freshmen on the wrestling squad. The second field hockey team, consisting of many members of our class, was undefeated except for one tie with Marshfield. Many Freshmen are excellent stu- dents, in addition to being interested in sports and other school activities.
