His majesty, Peter, his subjects were we. Bob carried our money bags; Ted was V. P. Carol took minutes, and handled the books; She was a gal with brains plus looks. Miss Gile gave advice, Mr. Atkinson too. They are two swell people, through and through. What would we have done at class meetings and such If they ' d not kept us happy and helped us so much? Clubs were formed from cooking to sports. To cultivate talents, to teach things of all sorts. The Nurse ' s Club was one of these; With Gail and Phyllis around, please don ' t sneeze! The Library Club the intellects chose; Bob made a fine president, everyone knows. Jane, Billy, and Joyce the shelves they dusted. While Phyllis and Corolyn the books they adjusted. The boys and girls who thought they could sing The doorbell of the Glee Club did ring. The Senior boys the songs did croon. While the Senior girls carried the tune. Did you smell smoke during the year? ' Twos only the boys trying to cook, I fear. The Chefs ' Club, open to mole seniors at will. Was Carl, Allen, Arnold, Jock, Dick, and Bill. The Photographers ' Club, camera lovers ' paradise. Took and developed pictures . . . real nice! Carolyn, Marcia, Joyce, Frances, and Jane, Mary, June, Clem, and Joe all learned the same. Football was always Larry ' s pride; He was right there fighting for our side. He was captain, too, you know; He ' s the chief reason we conquered the foe. The field hockey team was Gail and Carolyn ' s delight; As co-captains and good sports, these gals were all right. To add to that illustrious crew, Phyllis was manager, an efficient one too. Jack, Pete and Bob backed the basketball team; With Joe as manager, they were on the beam. The girls ' B B Team starred Carolyn, Mary and Jane, With Billy as manager, co-champs they became. Anyone for wrestling? That was the question! Clem, Allen, Hugh, Arnold, who did you mention? Oh, yes, Carl was manager, that ' s for sure; His job was matches to procure. Go, go everybody, was the cheerleaders ' cry While rooting the teams on to victory or die. Lilla, the captain— Joyce, Marcia, and June Always sang 6oo a Boo a way off the tune. The Student Council rose to fame. As Ron the title of President did claim. Carolyn took the notes you see. With Paul and Don, Pat and T. T. Pro Merito a brilliant group claimed, Especially when Paul, Imperator was named. With Ronald as Ductor; Pat, Praefectus Aerarii; Gail as Scriba or in English, Secretary. Key Club president was our Don; Dick the secretary. Letitio on the Chimes staff was very necessary. She was editor-in-chief; Joyce took the business end. In orchestra, Dick and Ron a musical note did lend. Paul Berg won the Bausch-Lomb Award they soy; Gail and Ronnie won a prize for the U.N. essay. Letitia was the Good Citizen of the D. A. R. T. and Dave, With Pat and Jack support they gave. Liz was our high strutting head majorette. With Gail K. and Jane right behind her, you bet. If your name is left out in sports in this writing. The spring teams weren ' t formed at the time of this printing! The graduation ceremony ends our years. As we say farewell, we shed many tears. With thanks to all as we soy goodbye. We leave you now.
