Day Means to The Senior Class of 145 To us V.E. day means a day of rejoicing and of prayer when all of us should thank God that the war is this near over and some of our boys will soon be homo to stay. Of course we shouldnft think just of the ones returning but also of the ones who won't come home because they gave their lives so this day would come. ' Now'that the war in Germany is over there can be more supolies sent to Japan so that we can soon have a day for rejoicing and have our loved ones with us. Even though the war in Germany is over this doesn't mean that we can get the things we want,,but instead there will be a lot more things we can't get.
