Page Four o o Z ucafzon Mr Hugh Thorne, Nr Clyde Bower, Mr Bill Greer Durlng the past few years the schools of our country faced many and diffIcult problems The teaching staffs were recruited by the armed services and war lHdUStP16S The shortage of materials and supplles effected the class room instructlon Buildings were run down because of needed repairs In spite of all this the Sc1o Board of Education kept the school open But now that the war is over, the Board in cooperation with the State Department of Education has adopted a program for the rehabil itation of the building with the return of veterans, departments that were closed have been reooened and our staff once more is com plete In addition to the above,p1ans are being made to give each child in the school district a better opportunity for an education in this changlng world, to fit him for citizenship in our democracy and to make him useful in the society of today and tomorrow 3 is' 5 , I was W Z af 5 cf LEFT TO RIGHT: Mr. Cecil Voorhees, Mr. Jay bpiker, Mr. Ray Henderson, . !
