These awards were in livestock iudging, farm mechan- ics, livestock showing, and in the tractor driving contest. This was an outstanding job done by this chapter. Verl Thomas won the Science Award and scholarships to 0.S.U. Jim Shepherd won the Math Award, Ken Burger won a Linn-Benton Community Scholarship. Janice Horinek won a Beauty College tuition scholarship. Bette Hueller won 800 dollars in Commercial Arts Scholarships. Paula Shaffer won a Commercial Arts Award. Jeanne Port won 1,875 dollars worth of scholarships. Lorna Hargan won 800 dollars worth of scholarships. Jeanne Port won the Purina Youth of the Year Award.
