Yes, This is Modern Biology. Todd Mock accepts Lynn Stuart’s advice on his new drawing. Dawning Of A New Day Toppers Once Again Face The Challenges Of Another Year Student life implies a spec- trum of activities. We stu- dents of secondary education slave with pen in hand five days a week. That cubicle, properly called a classroom, we praise for it’s constant mind transformations. On the weekend a Topper is giv- en a chance, not always avail- able during the week, to be- come an individual. All too soon, Sunday approaches and we restlessly attempt to complete assignments. Mon- day, we’re back on the job with a distant vision of the coming weekend. By mid- week our minds have either just begun to function, or else we fall into the category of academic idleness. But, none the less, a Topper will always give his best. Fall changes into winter, win- ter to spring, and before we realize it, the school year has slipped away. Soon we’ll be taking final exams. We plan to study in advance, but that concept never seems to work; however, we meant well. New friends have been made and experiences shared. Yet, who were those people with their discipline and authority who tried to instill within us a vi- tal message? Someday, we’ll grow to appreciate our time at the school on the hill. 16 Student Life
