3 5 Coming Together Is A Beginning. 6 Counselor and friend, Ms. Jeanne Oppel has guided our lives at Science High School for four years. When we arrived at Science High, it was she who began to smooth the rough edges of our immaturity. After four years, we are on the threshold of adulthood, ready to accept the challenges that await us. For putting up with us, for guiding us, for inspiring us. the Class of 1982 says, “Thank you,” to Jeanne Oppel. GUIDANCE COUNSELOR Jeanne Oppel 8 The Science High School graduating class of 1982 would like to express its appreciation to a man and a woman who have been absolutely vital to the development and welfare of this Senior Class. Their unselfish sacrifice has been most beneficial to our growth and well-being. They are the people who started with a group of unorganized individuals and converted them into the unified spirit known as the Class of '82. It is to you, Richard Balsamel and Kathleen Donohue, that we. the Class of ’82. truly give thanks for all of your help during the past four years. We love you. Keeping Together Is Progress. 10 11 12 Working Together Is Success. 13 As freshmen we were like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle placed in a box. We came together for a common goal: an education. As the years progressed, our teachers, our guidance counselor, and we ourselves began to put the pieces into place. Some pieces had to be shaped or made to fit the specifications of the puzzle. During our sophomore and junior years, we worked together academically and socially in order to approach our goal. Now we are Seniors, and the puzzle is complete. We will soon have to begin this synergistic process again just as we have done in the past four years at Science High School. But we know that we can make the pieces fit. The fragments which came together in the beginning, kept together for four years, and worked together towards a common goal — Diana Aponte Gary Benson Elizabeth Bopp Michelle Branch Timothy Brantley Altericke Brinkley Gary Brown Mark Butler Adrienne Cain Stephanie Carson George Chambers Juan Concepcion Rafael Cortez Lavonne Crapps Clarence Dabney Darlene Davis Janet DeJesus Carla Easton Maria Figueroa Wanda Gar bet te Caridad Garbey William Grant Anthony Green Mark Harris Deanar Herran Jarubi Howard Dorothy Huff Angelia Isom Patrina Jackson Andre Jett Anthony Johnson Otis Johnson Regina Jones Jacqueline Kinsler Curtis Lang Ken Langley Darla Lee Tawana Logan Angel Lorenzo David Maldonado Steve Manley Edmund McCathern David McClish Clarence McNeil Jozsef Merczel Gregory Middleton Sonya Middleton Patricia Mitchell Inez Mobley Regina Moore Valerie Morgan Gail Morris Zina Motley Regine Myrthil Rosine Myrthil Angel Nazario David Nettles Migdalia Nieves Valencia Nixon Annette Owens Da mar is Pa bon Tracy Passmore Raphael Pastor Derrick Perkins Esau Peterson Yvaughan Pierce Luis Rodriguez Wanda Rodriguez Samantha Seabron Alajab Shabazz Sandra Shanks Stephen Shepherd Reginald Slade Anthony Smith Thomas Smith Joseph Sorbino Avia Stokes Joseph Strickland Craig Taylor Janna Taylor James Terry Randell Thompson Linda Vickers John Wade Cedric Ware Shenetta Waterman Anthony Weeks Geraldine Williams Vickie Williams Annette Wright Annette Young 15 are now...
