Text from Pages 1 - 96 of the 1978 volume:

True science teaches one to be ignorant, and always to doubt. Claude Dernard We, the students of Science High School, strive incessantly to explore the deep, dark, undiscovered FRONTIERS of the Universe, in the hope that one day we will illuminate the path of Knowledge, making the unknown, known. We are determined to discover what there is to be found, to be learned, and to be accomplished by the exploration of the remaining Frontiers: the Atom, the Cell, the Seas, Space, and the outer reaches of the mind. These are the never-ending challenges we will encounter and accept in life. This is the heritage of Science High School and this is the tradition we hand to posterity. Dedication In recognition of his vision in conceiving the possibility of a unique and diversified institution of learning, of his perseverance in bringing this vision to reality, and of his relentless pursuit of scholastic excellence, we the first graduating class salute the I oundcr and Principal, Morris R.
