FORREST ALLEN BLATT Forrese has chosen the academic course of study. His future ambition is to enter the Air Force. Al- though Forrest is one of the most quiet members of the senior class, he has a friendly way about him and seems to get along with practically all of his fellow classmates. Although he prefers not to dance, he enjoys music and plays trombone in the school band, where he does a fine job. A favorite expression of Forrest's is Hey beep. His favorite pastimes are playing softball and swim- ming. Some of Forrest's activities have been with: Vallette staff in twelfth gradeg the band in ninth tenth, eleventh and twelfth gradesg Junior Class play' and typing club in twelfth grade. 1 JUNE MARY BLANKENBILLER June has taken the commercial course, but her future is undecided. During the summer and after school, .lune works in a drugstore. In the summertime when she is not working, she is usually found swimming at the pool. Swimming is her favorite pastimeg '4Son-of-a-gun is her favorite expression. For two years June had been active in cheering. ln her sophomore year, she had been active on the junior varsity squad of cheerleaders, and in her jun- ior year, she had been active on the varsity squad. June participated in the following activities: Press Club in tenth, eleventh, and twelfth gradesg Varsity Club in tenth and eleventh grades, F.H.A in ninth grade, Library Club in ninth grade, Y-Teens in tenth and eleventh gradesg Music Appreciation in twelfth grade, and Vallette staff in twelfth grade.

JAMES OWEN BOND The commercial course has been Jamesls selec- tion in his last two years at S.V.H.S. After grad- uation. he will be another alumnus who plans on entering the armed services - the Army. He is presently working part time on his uncle's farm. but he hopes his two years. as an academic student. will be of value tu him later. Co-operation is one uf his finer assets. He nev- er hesitates to lend a helping hand. James has been an active participant in the fol- lowing activities: Press Club in eleventh and twelfth grades: Band in ninth. tenth. eleventh. and twelfth grades: and on the stage crew for the ,lunior and Senior Class plays. BARBARA ANNE BOND ln spite of the fact that Barbara's choice of study in her high school years was the commercial course. she has a staunch future ambition of being a kindergarten instructor. Lively. energetic. and most ambitious are quite descriptive of this girl who has helped many an organization. especially our class of '59, to being a successful group. Her clerical studies have proved of great value to her as she served as secretary of her senior class and the Student Council. At the annual Valentines Dance in our sopho- more year Barbara reigned as '6Queen of Hearts. Barbara has been an active participant in the following clubs: Vallette staff in tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades: Student Council in tenth, eleventh. and twelfth grades: vice-president in eleventh grade, secretary in twelfth grade: Press Club in ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades: cheerleading in tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades: Varsity Club in tenth and eleventh grades: Dramatic Club in twelfth grade: Band in ninth, tenth. and eleventh grades: Y-Teens in tenth and eleventh grades: and hall patrol in eleventh and twelfth grades.
