CHRISTA HILDEGARD AHNERT Christais choice of study is the commercial course with the ambition of secretarial work and later that of becoming a housewife. In her commercial classes she is a whiz at her typewriter. She is one of the few members of our class that has come from a foreign countryg namely, East Germany. Christais favorite expression is t'Oh, nuts, and her favorite pastime is reading. Being an energetic person, she finds much en- joyment in vigorous sports such as swimming and ice skating. Her activities include: F.H.A. in ninth and tenth grades. Travel Club in twelfth grade. and Vallette staff in twelfth grade. RUTH ALICE ADAMS Ruth comes from a family of six Ris of which she is the third. Although her future is undecided, she has chosen the commercial course in high school. Her size is diminutive. She not only is concise but also is very modest, leaving you with the im- pression that she can neither be found nor heard. Driving her parent's car in the country is her favorite pastime. Since Ruth lives on a farm, she naturally has developed the humane outlook toward animals. Ruth has been an active member of the Press Club in the eleventh and twelfth grades. She also was on the program committee for the Junior Class play.
