CARL FRANKIJN RANHCH Carl, having chosen the general course of study in his senior year, intends to continue his already begun military service. Throughout high school Carl has quite fre- quently been called upon to give of his knowledge in scientific matters. It is the sound belief of many that he will someday receive the just credit due him for all his efforts pertaining to science. Carl. being one of the jovial members of the class. has seemingly side-tracked any obstacles that might have hindered his happy-go-lucky manner. Carl was an active member in Senior Science in twelfth grade. DEBORAH ANN PRAY Deborahis choice of study is the academic. Af- ter high school she plans to enter the nursing pro- fession as a nurse or a nurseas aid. Looking further into her future. she hopes to become a housewife. The favorite expression that Deborah uses is HGooder. Her chief interest is traveling to New England where her family has a summer house and also where she lived when she was small. Deborah is a live wirei' member of the sen- ior class and can usually put the class into an uproar. Her activities include: Vallette staff in eleventh and twelfth grades: F.H.A. in ninth grade: Library Club in ninth and tenth grades: Chorus in eleventh gradeg Junior Class play, Y-Teens in eleventh gradeg Typing Club in twelfth grade: and Travel Club in twelfth grade.

RARBARA MAY SCHAPPELL Despite the fact that Barbara has chosen the commercial course. her future leans toward the full- time job of a housewife. Wfith her practical views on domestic life she is sure to be a most economical housewife. Barbara's ambitiousness has been reflected in her willingness to devote her time and energy toward social class functions. This trait. ambitiousncss. has also been evident in her employment as a waitress. She has included in her school activities: Val- lette Staff in eleventh grade: Press Club in eleventh and twelfth grades: Dramatic Club in tenth and eleventh grades: and F.H.A. in ninth grade. BARBARA ANN SCHAEFFER Barbara. a fun-loving brunette. has chosen the commercial course of study and she is thinking about the career of an air-line stewardess. She is concerned about the problems of her friends and is always willing to help in any way she can. Barbara has a love for animals with a strong preference toward cats. In addition to her being a participant in the school chorus. she has been a member of County Chorus in 1953. One of her chief interests is singing. Barbara's activities include: Vallette Staff in tenth. eleventh, and twelfth grades: Student Council in eleventh grade: Hall Patrol in eleventh and twelfth grades: Press Club in ninth. tenth, eleventh. and twelfth grades: Dramatic Club in twelfth grade: Chorus in ninth. tenth. and twelfth grades: and Y- Teens in eleventh grade.
