FUBE ORD The people of our nation' believe in education as the foundation of democracy. In view of this fact we have chosen Education for the Peace as our theme. Americans realize that education is the key to pro- gress. It is our purpose to show how the school life of a student today is developing the better world citizen of tomorrow. We, as cofworkers in the field of edu, cation, are 'preparing both physically and mentally to meet the demands of the future. In spite of the hectic conditions of our times we peer hopefully into the future in search of a new and better day when peace shall reign supremely in our world. It is our firm belief that the plans must be formulated and executed by an educated World citi- zenry.

EYSTER The School Board consists of a group of individuals who are interested in the public wefare of the community in the broadest sense of the word, They are prompted to supply the public needs by the fact that they are render- ing service to the young people of the community. They have a wholesome, comprehensive, liberal view of the task of public schools. The result of their concep- tion is revealed in the every-day work of our schools.
