During the three years that we have spent in the Schuylkill Haven High School, we have always found Mr. Hartranft ready and willing to lend us a helping hand whenever it was necessary. His willingness to help others and his pleasing personality will always be remembered by us. The things he has taught us in P.0.D. classes will linger in our memories for many years after we shall have been graduated. Therefore, we, the class of 19-H, dedicate our yearbook to him and sincerely hope that the classes in the future will benefit by his guidance as much as we have. FIVE

Never before in history has democratic education been so challenged with the problem of remaining free and at the same time of being effective in controlling the evils which are terrifying the world. Although there are serious days ahead for all of us, nevertheless we feel that we have been prepared to make genuine sacrifices and to readjust our individual lives through the reconstruction period which lies ahead.
