Dear Seniors, On behalf of the Staff and the Board of Education, it is a tremendous pleasure for me to be able to extend to all of you our most sincere congratulations on your upcoming graduation. The class of 1987 is the first of many that has accepted the challenges of new leadership and responded in such a positive manner. Your pride in yourselves and in your school will set an example for your underclassmen here at Schuylerville. Each of you will be able to look back upon your school and know that you played a key role in establishing new traditions and direction. As your new Superintendent, I can say that I am proud to be part of your fine school district and community. Many members of your class have gone out of their way to make the Brenner family part of our school community. I can never thank you enough for that warm greeting, but 1 can carry on the strong school spirit of the Class of 1987. Again, I say congratulations to each of you and wish you the very best in future years. Please remember your community and school because they will always remember the Class of 1987. Good luck to each of you and continue to make all of us proud of you. Sincerely, (pjzpi? Peter M. Brenner, Sr. Superintendent of Schools

SCHOOL DAYS Being located in a farm community, we hold a special place in our hearts for the lifeblood of our area. This lifeblood is, of course, cows. From Angus to Holstein, from beef to dairy, cows could be the most im- portant part of our landscape. In honor of the bovine species, the 1987 yearbook includes several references to these animals, so don’t be surprised, be on the lookout for cows, and BE PROUD!!
