Mr. Duncanson left us after the first game and Mr. Murphy took over the reins. After losing the next eight games in a row, we finally got our feet under us and won the last game of the season 7 to 4 over Hoosick Falls. Although they didn’t turn in a winning season as far as games won, we think they turned in a fine season as far as sportsmanship is concerned and we are proud of them. The only veterans back from the 1955 tennis team were Jack Sarie and Ed Malloy. Although they lacked veteran material, they put up a good fight and put a scare into the opposition more than a few times. Although we didn't win a meet last season, we did win experience and confidence.
