Prom and graduation evoke fond memories Two memorable events of senior year are the prom and graduation. The strains of Love Is Blue will long live in the hearts of those who at- tended the 1968 junior-senior prom. The jimmy Van Orchestra provided the music for an unforgettable eve- ningofdancing. Graduation is a time of laughing, crying, and recalling experiences guaranteed to be remembered for years. It is not, however, the ending- it's only the beginning. Schulte's patron, Archbishop Patil C. Schulte, presided over graduation exercises. The 1968 prom court consisted of M. Cherney, V. Brassie Queen Carol Roberson, I. Casey, and M. A, Klain. l- Hunter, A- O'BfiEn, K. Ormsby, seemed relieved with their diplomas.

bonfire antics and rugged competition Excitement, anticipation, determina- tion, and a touch of sadness-the spirit of homecoming. No other event dur- ing the year can so spur school spirit and loyalty. Homecoming week found the halls abounding in paper foliage, signs, and determined students. Excitement mounted as Becky Rausch was crowned 1968 Football Homecoming Queen. She and her lovely court reigned over the bonfire and the Tech game. All too soon, homecoming was no longer a reality but a dream long to be remembered. l Queen Becky Rausch reigns over Homecoming activities. Freshman attendant Linda Scherer, escorted by Henry Winn and Freshman lady-in-waiting Mary Cahill, escorted by joe Bockhold smile brightly during Homecomingactivities, Spirited students gather around to watch preparations for the '69 Bonfire.
