JOHN ALBERT BRATT St. Patrick Parish John is a member of the National Honor So- ciety, the CSMC, and the Glee Club. As a junior he attended the annual 'Boys' State . He has had roles in both the Christmas play and the Senior Class play. Having majored in math, science, English., and social studies, John plans to enter Rose Polytechnic Institute after gradu- ation. JOHN RAYMOND BURGET, JR. St. B cncdict Parish Jason has belonged tn the Glee Club and the CSMC for two years. He is a football letterman and has taken an active part in the Christmas and Senior Class plays. As a junior Jason was Vice-president of the class. He has English, math, and social studies majors and plans to enter Xavier University. JAMI' S THOMAS CREAN St. Patrick Parish Jim was a class representative of the Student Council during his Junior year and in his Senior was elected as its first president. He is n member of the CSMC and works as a reporter on the Crawl. With two majors, math and Eng- lish, Jim plans to study engineering at the University of Illinois. PEGGY MARIE CURTIS St. Margaret Mary Parish Peg holds membership in the FNA, the Secre- tary-of-the-Month Club, and the CSMC. She has worked as a reporter on the Crawl staff and sung in the Glee Club. Peg has majored in English, social studies and commerce. CARMENITA ANN FAHY St. Patrick Parish Carmenita was elected Senior attendant to the Carnival Queen. She is a member of the Glee Club, the CSMC, Secretary-of-the-Month Club, and the GAA. She took part in the Christmas play. Having majored in English, social studies, and commerce, she plans to enter business college. ROSE MARIE FINDLEY St. 1VIary-of-the-W'oods Parish Rosie has held office in the FTA and was elected in her Junior year to the National Honor Society. Rosie has belonged to the Clee Club, the CSMC, and worked as layout editor of the Mitre and reporter for the Growl. As a senior she was an attendant to the Snow Whirl Queen. She has majored in English, math, social studies, and Latin and plans to enter St. Mary- of-the-Woods College. V

LEADING THE WAY FOR THE SENIORS . are the four class officers. Under their very capable leader- ship the class of '55 has sponsored many worthwhile and memor- able activities. These dynamic students have not only been representative of their class but have been an asset to the entire student body. Alert to their responsibility of leadership, they have tried to further that foundation of traditions upon which the future spirit of Schulte depends. The records of their activi- ties attest to the fibre that goes into the making of fine class officers. K! ,Ill CAROLYN SUE GULLIFOR St. Benedict Parish Carolyn is president of the National Honor So- ciety and the Junior Red Cross. She is Senior class secretary and secretary-treasurer of the Secretary-of-the-Month Club. Carolyn is a mem- ber of the CAA and the CSMC. As a junior she was chosen Prom Queen. She has as her majors English, social studies, and commerce. She in- tends to work in the commercial field after graduation. VJOHN MICHAEL HANLEY 9 St. Ann Parish Nonnie', has served as both vice-president and president of the CSMC. He is president of the Senior class and was a Junior class officer. He is a member of the Student Council and has served on the Crawl and the Mitre staffs. John is a basketball letterman. He has also partici- pated in dramatics. He has four majors-math, English, science, and social studies and plans to enter college after graduation. ALICE LOUISE HAYWORTH St. Patrick Parish Alice is a member of the Press Club and the Glee Club, and has been editor of the Growl and literary editor of the Mitre. She has held offices in the Student Council, the CSMC, the FTA, and the CAA and was elected to the International Honor Society for High School Journalists and the National Honor Society. Alice was a member of the Snow Whirl Court and was the recipient of the D.A.R. Good Citizenship Award. She has Latin, math, Eng- lish, and social studies as majors and after graduation plans to enter Marian College. HARRY RICHARD HAWKINS St. Patrick Parish Dick represented Schulte at the 9th Annual World Affairs Institute. He serves as the Senior class treasurer and took an active part in the Christmas play. Dick has majored in English, math, and science. After graduation he plans to study electrical engineering at Rose Polytechnic Institute. SUSAN GREY MAHONEY St. Margaret Mary Parish Susie has been active in the FTA, the Student Council, the CSMC, the GAA, and the Clee Club. As a junior she was an attendant to the Prom Queen. Susie is Vice-president of the Senior class. She has majored in English, science, and math and plans to enter St. Mary- of-the-Lake College. ELIZABETH WILHELMINA MARSHALL St. Benedict Parish Willie has taken part in the Christmas and Senior Class plays. She holds membership in the FTA, FNA, GAA, and Glee Club and has served on the Mitre staff and as homeroom CSMC representative. Elizabeth has English and social studies majors and plans to enter college or nurses' training.
