• In Memory Of Joan Broughton We, the class of 1976 offer this yearbook as a memorial for Joan Janette Broughton. 11-11-58--9-3-75 Joan was a classmate and friend, whose untimely death made us all perhaps a little more aware of life, and what it can mean for each and every one of us. We now understand a little better the true meaning of compassion and love for our fellow man. Among Joan's possessions was a wall hanging. The verse it contains more or less describes the manner in which she patterned her life, the verse is on the following page. LOW ME DOWN, LORD ww me down. To her ever we'll be loyal, We'll shout her praises still, And we'll lift the white and crim- son and uphold it with our will. FACULTY AND STAFF TO THE CLASS OF 1976 For another year our country is at peace and employment is at fairly good rate but we still have many people who cannot find em- ployment in the fields they would prefer. It is a difficult decision for each of you to make concerning what you want to do or where you could be most successful. I hope through the advice of your parents, teachers and friends that each of you come to a way of life that is most successful for you. Congratulations and best wishes on your graduation.
